Nantua. At 11 years old, Flavio Lavenne dives into the lake to clean it up

The photo of young Flavio Lavenne, 11, was widely shared this summer on social media. Because one of his hobbies turns out to be original. As soon as the weather permits, he and his dad, Fabien, enjoy diving into the emerald water of our beautiful Lake Nantua. And this, for a very specific purpose, unlike many other swimmers who just come to cool off during the summer. Dressed in his diving gear, fins on his feet, gloves on his hands, and a mask screwed onto his face, Flavio likes to clean the lake of objects littering the bottom near the banks.
