  • Sunday, July 6. The fifth edition of the Forbach en Rose race, in support of the fight against breast cancer, brought together nearly 1,000 participants this Sunday morning, in a festive atmosphere! Runners and walkers braved the gloomy weather to cover the approximately 7 kilometers of the course marked out by the organizers of the athletics club through the Schlossberg and the city. Nathan Schumacher, 15, a member of US Forbach Athletics, won in 25:05, followed by Jonathan Schafer (USF) and Emile Wagner (non-member).   • Monday, July 7. Kevin Pfeffer, RN MP for Forbach, proposes dismantling Sydeme (the Moselle-Est household waste syndicate), which he describes as a fiasco.
  • Tuesday, July 8. Despite his reminders, Jean-Marie Pirinu, director of the company JMP Gardiennage, has still not received payment for unpaid invoices from the Marie-Madeleine Hospital in Forbach. The bill is €65,000 for a mission to monitor the Emergency Department, night and day, from January to May 2025.   • Wednesday, July 9. As part of the urban renewal program for the Wiesberg district, a large central urban park will be created in the heart of the city, between the Dahlias and Géraniums towers. Work has begun. The site will feature a multi-sports field, a 680-square-meter children's playground, a pétanque court, a rest area, and more. The project will cost €620,000.
  • Thursday, July 10. The City of Forbach has issued a decree banning the consumption of nitrous oxide in public spaces. Empty canisters of this product, which has been diverted into euphoric gas, are regularly discovered by law enforcement. This is proof, according to the mayor, of the widespread widespread use of the substance.

  • Friday, July 11. The entry fees for works councils (CE) at the Aquagliss swimming pool in Freyming-Merlebach will be revised upwards. This is due in part to abuses identified by the community of communes.
