Thionville. Pesticides in Luxembourg: Measures that are struggling to convince

Since 2017, Luxembourg has implemented numerous measures to reduce the use of plant protection products. However, analyses by the Luxembourg Veterinary and Food Administration regularly reveal the presence of pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables produced through conventional agriculture.
Acetamiprid, an insecticide whose reintroduction is permitted under the Duplomb Law, is still in use in Luxembourg today.
