Villeurbanne: Fly-tipping is on the rise

Fly-tipping can be seen all over the city, at the access ramp to the ring road in Croix-Luizet, on Avenue de Bel Air, and on Rue Alexis-Perroncel. Pedestrians arriving via Rue Mauvert barely have enough room to pass the fence of the new spinning mill district.

On the legal side, Articles R. 632-1 and 635-8 of the Penal Code prohibit and punish with fines ranging from €68 to €1,500 the dumping of waste.
