Wind, drought, temperatures... What are the criteria for defining fire risk?
After several days of heatwaves across much of France, Météo France has placed 10 departments at the "high" forest fire danger level this Saturday, July 5, while 10 departments remain on orange heatwave alert. The heat of recent days is creating conditions conducive to forest fires, although the summer scenario has yet to be determined.
