Vestas reaps record order harvest from German tender

Almost half of the projects in the latest German onshore tender have been designed with Vestas turbines. In total, the Danish turbine manufacturer is set to supply more than 1.5GW of the 3.4GW awarded in August, which is as much as its two closest competitors combined, shows a review of this year’s tender results conducted by EnergyWatch’s Danish sister media, EnergiWatch.
