COP30. Spectacular protest in Berlin: the TV tower resembles a burning planet.

Berlin's TV tower has been transformed into a burning Earth . On the eve of COP30 in Belém , Greenpeace projected the image of a planet engulfed in flames onto the tower's famous globe, accompanied by the message: " Act now! ". The installation , visible in the heart of the German capital , was intended to highlight the urgency of the climate crisis and the responsibility of the European Union and the German government in leading the ecological transition . " It's time to abandon coal, oil and gas and protect the world's forests ," said Greenpeace expert Harald Gross . The action took place as preparations were being made in Belém for the opening of the conference, which was attended by over 50 heads of state , 170 countries and thousands of delegates . However, as UNEP recalled, the world is still on a trajectory of warming between 2.3 and 2.5 degrees , well above the limit set by the Paris Agreement .
