Over 450 quintals of ghost nets, plastics, tires, ferrous materials and even the carcass of a Vespa have “re-emerged” from the depths thanks to the members of Fipsas, which also took care – with the help of over three thousand students – of cleaning the beaches right at the beginning of the summer season. Lecce was the central city of this 2025 edition of “Pulifondali” and “Pulispiagge”, which developed in all the regions of Italy with the sole exception of Valle d'Aosta. “An incredible achievement - explains Prof. Ugo Claudio Matteoli, federal president - which leads us to continue on this path because environmental protection is a crucial necessity for the survival and well-being of life on earth.
