The fury of the Seveso in Milan buried under the streets of Milan

Due to heavy rainfall, the Seveso River has overflowed in the Niguarda neighborhood of Milan. All manholes near the basins covering the riverbed on Via Valfurva have been opened. In Milan, in addition to the Seveso River, the Lambro River is also at very high levels. Water has flowed out of the manholes on Via Vittorini, a key traffic hub, where flood barriers have been installed to protect homes. Firefighters are currently engaged in numerous operations throughout the city. On Via Val Cismon, in the Niguarda neighborhood, an area affected by the Seveso River's overflow, they intervened to evacuate a private school. There has been widespread flooding, with cars trapped in underpasses, and power outages in areas where power substations are being hit by the water.
