The International Space Station flies over Typhoon Ragasa: spectacular images of the storm's eye.

These are truly spectacular images from today's International Space Station , which flew over the eye of Ragasa, the monster typhoon that hit the Philippines.
In Manila and much of the country , activities and classes were suspended on Monday due to the risk of destructive winds and torrential rains.
The storm, after crossing northern Luzon, moved into the South China Sea .
Ragasa is now travelling towards Hong Kong , where the local observatory has already announced the raising of the alert : from Tuesday a rapid worsening is expected, with hurricane-force winds especially in open sea and in high areas.
