PGE Energetyka Kolejowa's million-dollar contract with Elektrotim

On August 1, 2025, PGE Energetyka Kolejowa and Elektrotim signed an agreement for the performance of construction and assembly works related to the construction of the PT Kościerzyna traction substation together with the necessary infrastructure, construction of power supply lines, traction power supply cables, return, control and telecommunications cables.
The contract value is PLN 16 million net, or PLN 19.7 million gross.
The contract is to be completed by August 2026.
PGE Energetyka Kolejowa is a PGE Group company. The company owns, among other things, 18,400 km of power lines that power the overhead lines. The company is responsible for distributing 4.32 TWh of electricity annually, which represents approximately 3% of all energy supplied in the country.
PGE Energetyka Kolejowa employs over 4,000 people.
In the first quarter of 2025, Elektrotim had revenues of PLN 90.8 million, net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company amounted to PLN 4.2 million.
The company has an order portfolio with a record value of PLN 748 million.
At the end of 2025, the company will present a new development strategy for the coming years.
