The American series continues at our LNG terminal

This time, the gas arrived in the tanks of the Maltese-flagged methane carrier Vivit Americas. The 399-meter-long and 46-meter-wide vessel delivered approximately 104 million cubic meters of gas (after regasification).
The five-year-old ship was loaded with cargo at Cove Point in the US. This means that the share of American raw material in LNG supplies to Poland is steadily increasing .
Of this year's 42 deliveries, only seven came from Qatar ; all the rest came from across the Atlantic.
LNG supplies are crucial to our country's gas security. Approximately 40 percent of the gas currently consumed by our country comes from this source,
This year, the facility, managed by Gaz-System, is breaking records. It is the busiest LNG terminal in the entire European Union.
Currently, it can handle approximately 8.3 billion cubic meters of gas annually . Due to supply security and system flexibility, a second gas port will begin operating in the Gulf of Gdańsk in just over two years. Unlike Świnoujście, however, it will be a floating FSRU-type facility.
