The energy equipment manufacturer turned a loss into a profit. It significantly increased revenue.

The German manufacturer of energy equipment Siemens Energy in the third quarter of the 2024/25 financial year, i.e. from April 1 to June 30, had consolidated net revenues of EUR 9.74 billion, compared to EUR 8.79 billion a year earlier.
During this period, the net profit amounted to EUR 697.1 million , while in the same period of the previous year a loss of EUR 142 million was recorded.
Siemens Gamesa, a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, including those for offshore wind farms, continues to generate losses. In the third quarter, the loss amounted to €438 million, compared to €446 million a year ago.
Siemens Energy reported that new orders from customers totaled €16.6 billion during the past quarter. The total order book now stands at a record €136 billion, up 13 percent year-on-year.
The company is optimistic about the market situation, seeing its opportunities in the constantly growing energy investment market, especially in the renewable energy sector.
