The energy industry appeals to the Prime Minister, calling for safe and affordable energy.

Representatives of business and employer associations and industry associations have appealed to Prime Minister Donald Tusk to establish a single centre to decide on the direction of the Polish energy transformation.
Providing safe and affordable energy to businesses and households is one of the key challenges facing the state in the coming years. We therefore believe that a strong decision-making center is needed to determine the key directions and parameters of Poland's energy transformation. We want to have a single, concrete partner for discussions on issues that directly impact the competitiveness of Polish companies and the wealth of Polish families," we read in the prepared appeal.
" In our opinion, it is therefore necessary to concentrate key activities and decisions, also covering the area of renewable sources and energy storage, in the newly established Ministry of Energy," the signatories emphasize.
The changes will affect several ministries dealing with energyThe prepared appeal also states that the implementation of the above-mentioned postulate would require an amendment to the Act on Government Administration Departments.
In this context, a prudent and substantive dialogue is needed within the government, as well as with the president, in order to reach an agreement leading to the creation of a strong competence centre in the field of energy after years of separation between many ministries.
The signatories of the appeal are:
- Chamber of Industrial Energy and Energy Consumers
- Biogas and Biomethane Chamber of Commerce
- Chamber of Commerce of Polish District Heating
- National Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises
- Polish Federation of Food Producers
- Polish Organization for the Development of Heat Pump Technology PORT PC
- Polish Wind Energy Association
