APS launches tender to increase the draft of the Barnabé Island pier

The project has a 21-month execution period and aims to adapt the terminal to receive larger vessels.

The Port Authority of Santos (APS) launched, this Monday (23), the notice nº 40/2025 to contract specialized services for structural reinforcement of the Barnabé Island pier. The works, with an execution period of 21 months, aim to adapt the terminal to larger vessels.

The services include the structural reinforcement of the quay and the four existing mooring dolphins, the recovery of piles and the increase of the operational draft from -10.0m to -15.0m. The basic project also foresees the installation of a new dolphin, fenders and metal walkways, as well as the implementation of two oil separator boxes for effluent treatment.

APS has published seven other notices in recent weeks, aiming to contract equipment for APS electrical substations, road signs, air transport services and bulletproof vests for the Port Authority, among others. The tenders are available for consultation on the company's website's tenders page.
