Inter RAO is ready to set up medium and high-power gas turbines in the next 5 years

Inter RAO is considering the possibility of its own production of medium and high-power gas turbines in the next 5 years, Inter RAO CEO Sergei Dregval told journalists at the SPIEF.
"We are considering the possibility of producing gas turbines in the next five years, and the project is currently being actively developed. We are considering various scenarios for the production of both medium- and high-power turbines. Launching such production is a large-scale undertaking, and the final decision will be made after detailed development," he said.
Inter RAO sees great prospects for power engineering in Russia, given plans for the construction and modernization of generation. This segment could become a driver for the company's growth, added S. Dregval.
