Bayraktar's message to Adıyaman: The codes of the energy city

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar met with party members at the AK Party Adıyaman Provincial Headquarters to assess the city's post-earthquake recovery and its position in the energy sector. Bayraktar stated, "Adıyaman has largely recovered from the disaster of the century."

Post-earthquake recovery accelerated

Bayraktar, who stated that Adıyaman, which suffered heavy damage in the February 6 earthquakes, has made significant progress in a short time, noted that he has visited the city many times in the last two and a half years and that recovery has accelerated with each visit. "I have seen this development particularly seriously, as a province that has largely recovered. Hopefully, the remaining work will be completed."

ADIYAMAN IS AN ENERGY CITY

Bayraktar emphasized Adıyaman's special place in Türkiye's oil production, noting that the region, particularly the Karakuş Field, is a significant production center. The minister noted that daily production is around 8,000-9,000 barrels, that the Adıyaman Regional Directorate of Turkish Petroleum operates there, and that approximately 2,300 people are employed.

The meeting was attended by AK Party Provincial Chairman Bülent Kablan, MPs İshak Şan, Hüzeyin Özhan, and Mustafa Alkayış, as well as numerous party members. Minister Bayraktar stated that discussions within the scope of the "Turkey Century Meetings" will continue and that investments and improvement efforts in Adıyaman are being closely monitored.
