Capacity increase in Akfen's Denizli projects completed

Energy Diary - Akfen Renewable Energy Inc. (AKFYE) announced that commercial energy production has begun in the remaining sections of its 1.24 MW hybrid solar power plant section and 4.8 MW wind power plant capacity increase project in Denizli.
According to a statement made by Akfen Renewable Energy to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), temporary acceptances were made at the Denizli power plants of Korda Energy Production Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
INSTALLED CAPACITY INCREASED TO 808 MW
The statement noted that the provisional acceptances for the first 19.2 MW portion of the 24 MW Denizli RES capacity increase project and the first 4.5 MW portion of the 5.76 MW Denizli Hybrid Solar Power Plant project were previously made, and that the remaining portions of the projects were commissioned as of September 4, 2025. The provisional acceptances for the remaining 4.8 MW portion of the Denizli RES capacity increase project and the remaining 1.24 MW portion of the Denizli Hybrid Solar Power Plant project have now begun.
With these latest developments, it was noted that all hybrid solar power plants and wind power plant capacity increase projects within the scope of the company's first phase investments have become operational and the company's total installed capacity has reached 808 MW as of September 4, 2025.
YEAR-END TARGET: 887 MW
The company stated that it is continuing to commission the remaining portions of its RES capacity expansion investments in accordance with its investment program. The statement noted that upon completion of these RES capacity expansion investments, the company aims to reach a total installed capacity of approximately 887 MW by the end of 2025.
