LimakPort İskenderun to build a solar power plant in Ankara

Energy Diary - Limak Iskenderun International Port Management Inc. is planning to establish and operate the Limak Port Çankaya Solar Power Plant-1 (SPP) with an installed capacity of 3,750 MWe/4,598 MWm within the borders of Kömürcü Neighborhood, Çankaya district, Ankara province.

Within the scope of the project, 4598 kWp photovoltaic panels will be placed on aluminum carrier systems on a flat ground surface in an area of ​​56,634 m2, and 7,500,000 kWh of electricity will be generated annually from sunlight.

The electricity generated will be used to meet Limak Iskenderun International Port Operation Inc.'s self-consumption. The electricity will be carried via a 16 km-long, 34.5 kV power line, connected to the KÖK Building, and then transmitted to the national interconnected system.
