LimakPort İskenderun to build a solar power plant in Ankara

Energy Diary - Limak Iskenderun International Port Management Inc. is planning to establish and operate the Limak Port Çankaya Solar Power Plant-1 (SPP) with an installed capacity of 3,750 MWe/4,598 MWm within the borders of Kömürcü Neighborhood, Çankaya district, Ankara province.
Within the scope of the project, 4598 kWp photovoltaic panels will be placed on aluminum carrier systems on a flat ground surface in an area of 56,634 m2, and 7,500,000 kWh of electricity will be generated annually from sunlight.
The electricity generated will be used to meet Limak Iskenderun International Port Operation Inc.'s self-consumption. The electricity will be carried via a 16 km-long, 34.5 kV power line, connected to the KÖK Building, and then transmitted to the national interconnected system.
