Solar Industry Day in Stuttgart: more than 20 gigawatts per year

Total installed photovoltaic capacity in this country stood at 108 gigawatts at the beginning of July. Since the expansion target stipulated in the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) is 215 gigawatts by 2030, this means that we're only halfway there: Over the next five years, the installed capacity must be doubled as much as in the past 25 years. Experts will demonstrate what this means for Baden-Württemberg at the 12th Solar Industry Day on November 27, 2025, in Stuttgart.
What comes in BaWü after the state electionThe topics range from basic research in Germany under financially challenging conditions to technical innovations and practical solutions to the question of what energy policy in Baden-Württemberg might look like after the 2026 state elections. The Solar Industry Day has been the meeting place for the solar industry in the southwest for twelve years. It serves as a forum for the exchange of experiences and opinions with policymakers, for networking among stakeholders, and provides information on current developments in the industry. Around 200 participants are expected. (nhp)
