Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche. Inert waste storage project: PLU compliance procedure halted

The Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche municipal council has completed the process of bringing its Local Urban Planning Plan into compliance, which was intended to allow for the creation of a storage area for non-recyclable inert waste in the municipality. A group of residents had mobilized against the project.

Since late 2023, the project to create an inert waste storage site has been the talk of the town of Saint-Martin-Belle-Roche. Between a public meeting , the creation of a collective of opponents , a petition, and another consultation register kept at the town hall, the project will ultimately not go ahead.
