Severe thunderstorm watch in southern Quebec

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for many areas in southern Quebec.

"Conditions are favorable for the formation of severe thunderstorms that could produce strong gusts, large hail and heavy rain this afternoon," the ministry said on its website.

He recommends that citizens stay indoors to avoid injuries or even tragedies.

Motorists will also need to be more careful on the roads due to possible reduced visibility.
