An environmental report that Tata Steel submitted to the province of North Holland on Monday shows that planned cleaner installations can result in a 40% reduction in CO₂ emissions. The emission of particulate matter is hardly reduced by it. This is disappointing for local residents, because particulate matter emissions are harmful to health.
