Tauron will help customers choose the best tariff for them. The company has launched a price comparison tool
The comparator for individual customers is based on typical energy consumption models in three variants:
- in apartments,
- single-family homes,
- for charging electric cars.
According to the company, the comparison tool works simply and intuitively, allowing the user to match the tariff to their needs. All that is required is to provide annual electricity consumption. To make things easier, the system will suggest how much energy typical households use.
If the customer lives in a single-family house, they can indicate whether they use a heat pump and photovoltaics. In the second step, after adding the price of electricity from the seller they have chosen, the system presents the total payments in the available tariff groups of Tauron Dystrybucja.
We have launched a tariff comparison tool for customers so that they can check which tariffs are best for them and which ones they will be able to save on, depending on their consumption profile – explains Marcin Marzyński, the company’s Vice President for Customer Affairs.
For individual customers, Tauron Dystrybucja offers five tariffs:
- G11,
- G12,
- G12w,
- G13,
- G14dynamic.
It sometimes happens that when concluding a distribution services agreement, customers do not know what these abbreviations mean.
They usually choose the most popular and universal G11 tariff. This is a convenient solution that does not require managing energy consumption or adapting consumption habits to tariff zones.
Other distribution tariffs require more conscious management of consumption. However, even small changes in habits, coupled with conscious decisions, can contribute to lower electricity costs.
