Nordeste Export discusses the future of regional logistics in Teresina

Nordeste Export – Regional Forum on Logistics, Infrastructure, and Transportation, taking place on July 31st and August 1st in Teresina, Piauí, will bring together public officials and experts to discuss the sector's main challenges and opportunities in the region. The event will be broadcast live and free of charge on the BE News TV channel and will feature panels on innovation, energy transition, multimodal transportation, tax reform, and sustainability.
Among the highlights of the program is the participation of the minister of the Superior Labor Court (TST), Breno Medeiros, who will give a special lecture during InfraJur – Regional Meeting on Logistics, Infrastructure and Transportation Law, on the evening of July 31st.
Also on the afternoon of the 31st, Felipe Queiroz, director of the National Land Transportation Agency (ANTT), will moderate the "InfraESG" panel, which will discuss progress and challenges in the energy transition in the Northeast region. He will also participate in the formal session that concludes the day's proceedings.
Another highlight is the closing of the forum, on the morning of August 1st, which will be led by the Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, who will participate alongside parliamentarians and industry leaders.

Logistics overview
The Northeast is Brazil's second most populous region and home to the largest number of states, with nine federal units. Improving the land network and strengthening multimodality are seen as essential to increasing the efficiency of cargo movement, the mobility of its residents, and local economic growth.
In addition to the topics mentioned, the event will also discuss the current tax scenario and the port complexes in the Northeast as agents of a more sustainable future.
