The first edition of Navegue + Brasil awards the best shipping companies.

The ceremony was held this Wednesday (29), in Brasília, during the Brazil Export Forum.
The Ministry of Ports and Airports (MPor), in partnership with the Brasil Export Group, held the first edition of the Navegue + Brasil award on Wednesday evening (29), in Brasília. The initiative recognized the performance of Brazilian Shipping Companies (EBN) focused on cabotage, maritime support and port support.
The awards covered 11 categories, based on technical criteria and official data from the National Agency for Waterway Transportation (Antaq) and representative entities of the sector.
Among the highlights are the categories of highest cargo movement, increased transport capacity, fleet modernization, and gender equality, aimed at companies that have adopted inclusion and equity policies in their workforce.
The ceremony was attended by authorities such as Silvio Costa Filho, Minister of Ports and Airports, and Dino Batista Antunes, National Secretary of Waterways and Navigation, as well as businesspeople working in the sector.
For the government, the Navegue + Brasil Award is more than just a celebration; it represents a public policy that values waterborne transportation, strengthens the role of Brazilian shipping companies, and encourages competitiveness, innovation, and development in the sector.
The CEO of Grupo Brasil Export, Fabricio Julião, highlighted the importance of recognizing companies and institutions that perform excellent work within the context of the challenges and changes imposed on the sector. “The award represents the appreciation of the port sector, which faces numerous challenges but is increasingly overcoming them, breaking records, proving itself competitive and efficient, and all this potential deserves our respect and recognition,” he stated.
