Transport Minister takes concession portfolio to the US

The Ministry of Transport will present, starting on Monday (12), a portfolio of highway concessions and railway projects to the largest American players. The event will take place in New York, during Brazil Week 2025, which brings together major funds and infrastructure operators from around the world.

Led by Minister Renan Filho, the delegation from the Ministry of Transport disembarks for a series of strategic agendas, aimed at attracting foreign investment.

Among the highlights of the mission is the unprecedented mechanism for optimizing concession contracts, which will inject R$110 billion in investments into the country by 2026. In addition, Minister Renan Filho will present the potential of Brazilian railway projects, such as the Southeast Railway Ring, for example.

The agenda in the United States includes bilateral rounds with large international groups – such as BlackRock, Brookfield, ADP International, Sacyr, GIC, IFC and VINCI Partners, in addition to public panels in which Minister Renan Filho will speak about regulatory advances, the attractiveness of Brazilian projects and the government's long-term vision for the sector, as one of the most promising destinations for infrastructure investments, bringing together sustainable assets, competitive returns and legal security.

In just over two years, the Ministry of Transport held 12 auctions, reaching the historic mark of R$131 billion in investments in Brazilian highways.
