Egypt seeks partners in Russia to build solar power plants and energy storage systems

According to Galal El Gor, Deputy Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, Egypt has already begun to cooperate with a number of Russian companies on the issue of building a solar power plant.

"We are also very interested in lithium-ion energy storage systems. We are already taking concrete steps and are ready to hold consultations on this issue on the territory of the Egyptian embassy in Russia," he said, speaking at the Renwex conference.

According to G. El Gor, foreign partners can receive a number of tax benefits, which makes Egypt an attractive investment region.
