RAO/CIS Offshore Forum to be held October 7-10 in St. Petersburg

“RAO/CIS Offshore” will become part of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum for the first time; the program is being developed under the coordination of the Russian Ministry of Energy, the Russian Academy of Sciences and PJSC Gazprom, with the active participation of leading companies implementing oil and gas projects in the Arctic and on the continental shelf.
Participants at the RAO/CIS Offshore forum will discuss the problems of energy supply in the Arctic and offshore operations, solutions for the electrification of industrial facilities and remote Arctic territories based on low-power nuclear power plants (LPNPPs), floating power units (FPBs) and floating nuclear thermal power plants (FNPPs), as well as the latest developments in the field of autonomous power supply systems for underwater facilities at offshore fields.
The discussion moderator is Vasily Ustinov, Deputy Director for Special Projects at the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center.
