State subsidies for electric filling stations will reach 9.2 billion rubles

The government is ready to allocate new subsidies of 5.7 billion rubles for the construction and connection to networks of charging stations for electric vehicles. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Taking into account previous tranches, state subsidies for electric charging stations have already reached 9.2 billion rubles.
As M. Mishustin noted, this will allow the number of fast chargers to be increased by another 2 thousand in the next three years, bringing them up to 4 thousand units.
According to the government plan, approved back in 2021, by 2030, every tenth car produced in Russia should be electric, and the number of charging stations should reach 72 thousand, of which 28 thousand should be “fast”.
However, the electric car sales market is still underdeveloped in Russia. According to Avtostat, sales of new passenger electric vehicles in the Russian Federation in the first half of 2025 fell by 57%, to 4.4 thousand units.
