Chint Power offers Off-Grid Energy Storage Solutions to Milas Mining

Adding another project to its commercial and industrial energy storage portfolio, Chint Power has formed a significant partnership with Milas Mining for its energy transformation. The off-grid energy storage system, implemented at Milas, Bodrum, will not only reduce the facility's energy costs but also significantly contribute to its sustainability goals.
In this project, where engineering, procurement, and construction were carried out by HESA Teknik, a highly efficient and secure system was built using Chint Power inverter and energy storage solutions and Astronergy TOPCon solar panels. Chint Power's 125 kW/261 kWh commercial and industrial storage unit and inverter solutions enable instantaneous consumption and uninterrupted storage and use of solar energy.
This system, thanks to its microgrid operating principle, provides resilience to grid outages. Its advanced battery architecture offers 21% greater energy density, while its pre-assembled, all-in-one design reduces installation time by requiring a 30% smaller footprint. System security is enhanced with IP65 protection and Zone 4 earthquake resistance, while a fire warning system provides additional security.
This system will allow Milas Mining to store the energy generated by the plant from the sun, allowing it to be used at night and during low sunshine. This will allow the plant to meet its needs for reliable and sustainable energy, completely independent of the grid.
