Daily Electricity Production and Consumption Data

According to data from Türkiye Electricity Transmission Inc., the highest hourly electricity consumption yesterday was at 20:00 with 48,122 megawatt-hours, while the lowest consumption was at 05:00 with 34,409 megawatt-hours.

On a daily basis, 1,017,316 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced yesterday, while consumption was recorded as 1,021,486 megawatt-hours.

Imported coal-fired power plants led the way with a 23.7% share of electricity generation, followed by natural gas power plants with 22.7% and solar power plants with 12.6%.

Yesterday, Türkiye exported 6,575 megawatt-hours of electricity and imported 10,748 megawatt-hours.
