Istanbul Energy Unveils Sustainable Energy Vision at EIF 2025
Istanbul Energy Inc. presented its projects in renewable energy and smart city solutions at the EIF - Energy Congress and Fair 2025 , held at the Istanbul Fair Center from October 8–10. The Istanbul Energy stand attracted considerable attention from industry professionals, academics, students, and visitors interested in energy at the three-day fair.
This year, the 19th EIF 2025 – Energy Congress and Fair welcomed more than 30,000 local and international visitors. The event featured over 150 expert speakers in 30 different sessions. Istanbul Energy, a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality , shared its sustainability vision and energy efficiency practices with visitors. The company's renewable energy projects , lighting solutions , and smart city technologies were highly acclaimed at the fair.
General Manager Dr. Yüksel Yalçın spoke at the " Floating Solar Power Plants and Hybrid Investments " panel held as part of the fair. In his speech, Dr. Yalçın stated the following:
" Energy transformation is no longer a choice; it's a necessity. Floating solar power plants and hybrid investments hold great potential for environmental sustainability and energy efficiency. The steps we're taking in this area at Istanbul Energy are making tangible contributions to our country's green energy journey ."
Dr. Yalçın also served as a moderator for the panel " ESCO – Build-Operate-Transfer Model in Energy Transformation " held the same day. During this session, he made important assessments of transformation models and investment opportunities in the energy sector.
