Efficiency is our goal in every periodShell & Turcas CEO Emre Turanlı made the following assessments regarding the charging volume achieved:
We diligently preserve the trust placed in our brand as a legacy. We are also pioneering the transformation of stations across Turkey with our new services. We see the record demand for our electric vehicle charging service as a reflection of both this trust and the transformation we see in our guests.
We are proud that car users choose our stations with their electric cars, thanks to the trust placed in Shell 's brand power and the ever-diversifying and enriching non-fuel services we offer at our stations.
Efficiency is our constant goal. In our fuel business, Shell & Turcas doesn't have the most stations, but according to EMRA 2024 data, we are the market leader in fuel sales from stations, including TTS, with 21.5%. This means our efficiency rate of 2.26 per station makes us almost twice as efficient as our closest competitor in this area. We maintain a similar structure in our electric vehicle charging operations and are diligently expanding our network.
At our existing charging points, our user-friendly mobile app allows guests to easily initiate and complete charging, even on their first use. Our high-speed charging units are also well-maintained and safe.
We are bringing our global experience to Turkey with the Shell Recharge brand, one of the world's largest electric vehicle charging infrastructures, and we are also collaborating strategically with Trugo, which provides charging solutions for Turkey 's electric car , TOGG .
Drivers' charging anxiety is decreasingThe 2025 Shell Recharge Driver Survey, which includes the views of more than 15,000 drivers across Europe, the US and China, shows that confidence has increased significantly among existing electric vehicle drivers.
According to the survey, six in 10 electric vehicle drivers globally (61 percent) say they are less worried about running out of battery compared to a year ago. Nearly three-quarters (72 percent) say the choice and availability of public charging points has increased. Shell 's global electric vehicle charging network comprises more than 75,000 charging points worldwide, primarily in key markets.
