The occupation law is being taken to court

The Occupation Law No. 7554, which hands over land, olive groves, forests, and pastures to corporations, is being appealed to the Constitutional Court . All opposition parties have filed a joint appeal, while citizens have called on Ankara, saying, "We are there too." A critical day has arrived for the new law , which has been a target of environmental struggles in Turkey for years.
KESK , TMMOB , TTB , opposition parties, and environmental advocates will jointly apply to the Constitutional Court (AYM) today at 1:30 p.m. to overturn plunder law no. 7554. Citizens will also be present alongside the opposition. Environmental advocates, who declare, "We will not give up our land, olives, forests, and pastures," will gather in front of the Constitutional Court building in İncek to take the Occupation Law to court.
