A 10,000 cubic meter treatment plant for Manisa

Energy Diary - The Manisa Turgutlu 1st Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) Board of Directors will hold a tender for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in the region with credit support from the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The tender, which will be conducted by sealed bid, will treat domestic and industrial wastewater generated by businesses in the area.
The facility will be completed in 24 months.
The project involves the construction of units with a daily capacity of 10,000 cubic meters in the first phase, according to the implementation plans. The winning tenderer will be responsible for the construction of all units, the supply and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, the commissioning of the facility, and testing and maintenance. The contractor will also be responsible for the preparation of as-built projects, operation and maintenance manuals, and the training of administrative personnel. The project duration is 24 months from site handover.
TENDER IN ANKARA ON SEPTEMBER 30
The tender for the wastewater treatment plant construction will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the meeting hall of the Ministry of Industry and Technology's New Service Building in Ankara. Bid files must be delivered to the relevant Ministry unit by hand or registered mail no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of the tender. Bids received after this time will not be considered.
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE TENDER
Only domestic bidders are eligible to participate in the tender. Participants are required to submit a provisional guarantee of at least 24 million Turkish Lira. Proof of economic competence requires proof of unused cash and collateral from banks, at least 140 million Turkish Lira. For technical competence, bidders must submit a work completion certificate for the construction of an industrial wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of at least 4,000 cubic meters per day or a domestic wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of at least 10,000 cubic meters per day. Tender documents can be obtained from the relevant unit of the Ministry of Industry and Technology for a fee of 5,000 Turkish Lira. The Turgutlu Organized Industrial Zone Board of Directors also declared that it is not subject to the Public Procurement Law.
