The tender process for solar power plant investment has begun.
Akdeniz University Rectorate is holding a new tender for the construction, operation, and transfer of an unlicensed Solar Power Plant (SPP) to the administration in the Korkuteli district of Antalya. The tender announcement was published in the Official Gazette dated July 11, 2025.
Solar power plant construction is planned using a leasing model.The university's solar power plant, located on properties numbered 15, 20, and 22 on block 118 in the Yeşiloba neighborhood of the Korkuteli district, will be implemented using a revenue-sharing model. The project envisions operating the facility for a limited period before transferring it to Akdeniz University.
The tender will be conducted by closed bidding method.The tender, which will be held under Article 35/a of State Procurement Law No. 2886, will be conducted using the Sealed Bidding Procedure. With this method, bids from participating companies will be submitted in sealed envelopes, and after evaluation, a contract will be signed with the highest bidder.
