German onshore wind tender ends with fourth consecutive price drop

German onshore wind tender ends with fourth consecutive price drop

At least there is good news for the wind industry in this particular case. Once again, demand exceeded supply – literally – in Germany, where applications were submitted for the construction of almost 5GW of onshore wind power, 44% more than the 3.4GW offered. The 4.1GW tender in February was also oversubscribed, indicating a record high allocation this year with two more tenders remaining.
