A well-known mining machinery manufacturer has a new vice president.

Tomasz Duda was appointed Vice President of Patentus for the period from September 19, 2025 until the end of the joint term of office of the current members of the company's management board.

Currently, the composition of the Patentus management board is as follows: Józef Duda - president and two vice-presidents: Stanisław Duda and Tomasz Duda.

Tomasz Duda is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Faculty of Mining, majors: Mining and Geoengineering, Management and Marketing in Industry, year of graduation 2006.

Tomasz Duda served as a member of the Supervisory Board of Patentus from 2002 to 2006. Tomasz Duda has been an employee of the company since 2006: from 2006 he was a production engineer, from 2008 he was a company manager, from 2012 he was a marketing specialist, and in 2017 he was appointed Marketing Director, a position he held until his appointment as Vice President of the company.

Tomasz Duda has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the subsidiary Zakład Konstrukcji Spawanych Montex since 2017.

In the first half of 2025, the Patentus Group's revenues increased by 54.26% and amounted to PLN 75.1 million (an increase from PLN 48.7 million in the first half of 2024).

In the first half of 2025, the net profit of the Patentus group amounted to PLN 13.5 million, compared to PLN 7.4 million in the first half of 2024.

"The company's revenues depend largely on the current economic situation in the hard coal industry in Poland. Over 78% of the company's revenues in the first half of 2025 and over 56% in the same period of 2024 were generated by customers from the mining industry, such as Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa, PG Silesia, PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna, JZR, and Polska Grupa Górnicza," Patentus reports.

Patentus manufactures mining machinery, processes metals, and produces steel structures for many applications.

The company's headquarters is located in Pszczyna (Silesian Voivodeship). The company's shares are listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
