Just over 30 kilos of the drug was hidden in an old car imported from the USA.
Teams from the IRS and Federal Police seized just over 30 kilos of drugs, which were hidden in the fuel tank of an old vehicle imported from the United States. The seizure took place this Friday (11).
Typically, drug seizures at the Port of Santos involve export shipments of cocaine. In this Friday's operation, the drug, which has not yet been identified, was found in an import shipment.
The Federal Police's expertise will identify the substance found and the exchange of information between the two Institutions will define the course of the investigations to be conducted in a police inquiry.
