Natural gas heats every room in a home evenly, eliminating the "gas cylinder runs out, meal left unfinished" problem in the kitchen and ensuring uninterrupted access to hot water. According to the June sector report of the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK), over 22 million natural gas subscribers in Türkiye enjoy all these advantages. Aksa Natural Gas, which provides natural gas distribution services in 29 provincial centers and 339 districts and towns, also emphasized the importance of combi boiler and chimney maintenance for both safe and economical use.

Before winter arrives, it's essential to have combi boilers and chimneys serviced. Regularly maintained combi boilers not only last longer but also heat living spaces more efficiently. Checking flexible connections and replacing any that have reached the end of their lifespan prevents subtle gas leaks, eliminating potential risks to life and property. Aksa Natural Gas emphasized that only authorized personnel should intervene in combi boiler and chimney systems, emphasizing that chimneys must extend outdoors, especially if combi boilers are located in enclosed areas such as balconies or terraces. "Flue connections must not be opened, must not leak, and must be visually inspected regularly," Aksa Natural Gas explained, emphasizing that these details should not be neglected for safe use. Another crucial point is the availability of ventilation vents in enclosed spaces. Keeping these vents closed, especially during windy and stormy weather, is a significant safety precaution against carbon monoxide poisoning.

Aksa Natural Gas emphasized that combi boiler maintenance is crucial not only for safety but also for cost savings, stating that regular maintenance reduces natural gas consumption. Unmaintained combi boilers consume more energy to provide the desired heat, leading to both energy waste and higher bills. Periodic maintenance helps detect and fix potential combi boiler malfunctions early, preventing significant repair costs down the road. Users wishing to replace their combi boilers must have this done through certified companies, with the knowledge of the distribution company. Otherwise, non-compliant practices can lead to serious safety risks.
