Ministry of Environment announces exam for climate specialist recruitment

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change's Climate Change Directorate has opened an oral entrance exam for the recruitment of 16 Assistant Climate Change Specialists in the General Administrative Services Class. Applications will be accepted online through the e-Government Career Gate Public Recruitment Platform between November 20, 2025, and December 4, 2025.
PURCHASES WILL BE MADE FROM FOUR DIFFERENT GROUPS
In the first group, 10 positions were reserved for graduates of environmental engineering undergraduate programs. In the second group, two positions were reserved for graduates of the Faculty of Political Science, the Faculty of Business Administration, the Faculty of Economics, and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In the third group, two positions were reserved for graduates of IT fields such as computer engineering, computer science engineering, and software engineering. In the fourth group, two positions were reserved for graduates of engineering fields such as chemical engineering, industrial engineering, and manufacturing engineering.
KPSS AND ENGLISH REQUIREMENT
Application requirements include a minimum score of 70 on the KPSS P3 or P48 Public Personnel Selection Exam (KPSS) as of the application deadline. Applicants must also have a score of 70 or higher on the English Language Exam (YDS) or an internationally recognized equivalent. They must also be under 35 years of age as of the first of January of the exam year.
APPLICATION AND EXAM PROCESS
Candidates will apply to only one group based on their faculty and department. Following the review of applications, four times the number of quotas announced for each group will be eligible to take the oral entrance exam. Rankings will be based on KPSS score preference.
The oral exam will be held in Ankara. The exam date, location, and time will be announced on the Presidency's website. The entrance oral exam will be graded out of 100 points, and candidates who score at least 70 will be considered successful.
APPOINTMENT PROCEDURES
Success ranking will be determined based on the oral exam score. Starting with the candidate with the highest score, a total of 100 candidates will be selected, equal to the number of positions advertised. A reserve list will be created, not exceeding half of the number of assistant specialist positions.
The documents required from candidates who successfully complete the oral entrance exam and qualify for appointment, along with their submission dates, will be announced on the Presidency's website. Candidates who submit the required documents within the required timeframe will be appointed to assistant climate change specialist positions.
