The Siemens Integrated Production Facility successfully produced the 100,000th medium voltage distribution panel, once again demonstrating its capacity to meet the needs of Turkish industry and the global energy market.
According to the company statement, Siemens Turkey has achieved another important milestone in energy distribution technologies.
The Siemens Integrated Production Facility once again demonstrated its engineering competence and global production power in Türkiye by producing the 100,000th medium voltage distribution panel.
Siemens Türkiye Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Hüseyin Gelis, whose views were included in the statement, stated that the safe and sustainable transmission of energy has become one of the most important issues worldwide, and noted the following:

The 100,000th medium-voltage panel is not just a production unit, but a symbol of holistic success in various areas, from digitalization to environmental sustainability, from engineering strength to human resources. I thank all our colleagues who contributed to this success. The Siemens Integrated Production Facility clearly demonstrates Türkiye's status as a global player."
Siemens Turkey Electrification and Automation Factory Director Veli Turgut also noted that the company is considered a global exemplar in terms of digitalization, engineering capabilities, and renewable energy use, saying, "The Gebze Siemens Integrated Production Facility produces more than 7,000 NXAIR series panels annually. These panels represent sustainable technology with their environmentally friendly construction, SF6-free, 10-year maintenance-free design, and service life exceeding 30 years. We create added value from Türkiye to the world with these products, which we export to more than 50 countries."
First facility with LEED Gold Certification
The Gebze Siemens Integrated Production Facility, which first produced in Kartal in 1961, became Türkiye's first facility to receive ISO 9001 quality certification in 1990. In 2009, due to increased capacity needs, it relocated to the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone. The facility, with its 21,750 square meters of enclosed space, employs 755 people. The facility also offers environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions that meet global quality standards in the production of medium and low voltage panels. It also holds the distinction of being the first industrial production facility in Türkiye to receive LEED Gold Certification.
The Gebze Siemens Integrated Manufacturing Facility operates as one of Siemens' major global production bases. An R&D center since 2013, the facility increases production efficiency with digital technologies such as digital twin applications, predictive maintenance solutions, and remote acceptance testing (FAT). The recently developed OneX platform enables real-time, integrated digital management of all processes, from ordering to production and from production to delivery.
The facility, which achieved a 60 percent capacity increase, 70 percent logistics savings, and 30 percent production efficiency through digitalization efforts, operates with 100 percent green energy in line with its sustainability goals, while 75 percent of wastewater and 35 percent of materials used are reused. With this success, Siemens Turkey has once again proven that it continues to offer not only products but also solutions with high environmental responsibility, engineering value, and that will support the energy infrastructures of the future.
