The forest fire in Manisa was brought under control.

The forest fire that broke out in the Demirci district of Manisa was taken under control .

The fire, which started in agricultural land as a result of a transformer explosion in the Öksüzlü Neighborhood of the district, spread to the forest area due to the effect of the wind.

Following the notice, 2 planes, 2 helicopters, 4 water trucks, 2 water tankers and fire crews were dispatched to the region.

Neighborhood residents also supported the work with tankers.

Demirci District Governor Fatih Bayram and Demirci Mayor Erkan Kara also went to the fire zone and monitored the work.

The fire was brought under control after approximately four hours of intensive work by the crews.
