TPAO will establish an oil storage facility in Adıyaman

Energy Diary - The Adıyaman Regional Directorate of the Turkish Petroleum Corporation ( TPAO ) is planning a Crude Oil Storage Facility in Kayacık Village, Merkez District, Adıyaman Province. The planned operation will take place at the Şambayat Necat Özer Production Camp. The project is estimated to be worth approximately 10 million Turkish Lira.
The facility, to be established as part of the project, is planned to store oil extracted from fields holding AR/TPO/K/M40-D exploration licenses and ARI/TPO/K/M40-D1-2 operating licenses. Storage requires a storage capacity of 4,741.50 m³. Crude oil will be transported to the facility via pipelines and tankers. The facility will separate water from oil and pump it to the BOTAŞ Sarıl station.
The project will be operated 365 days a year, in 3 shifts, with 30 personnel.
