Ekopol Górnośląski signed an important agreement with Orlen

Ekopol Górnośląski signed an important agreement with Orlen

In the near future, Ekopol plans to complete IT work that will enable customers to cashlessly collect fuel using the same identifiers or mobile applications – both at micro-stations (i.e. tanks that customers use for their own needs) and at all Orlen petrol stations.

Huge opportunities for automating customer processes

This is another functionality implemented by Ekopol as part of the Mikrostacje.pl technology.

- As part of the system, customers have access to, among others, fuel management, purchase of liquid fuels with delivery to the site, including HVO100, functionality related to GPS devices in vehicles, a work time settlement system (RCP), and facility management using technology for unattended entry and exit management, as well as photovoltaic modules with the option of charging vehicles - explains Sebastian Pyka, vice president of Ekopol Górnośląski.

All these elements are interconnected, which provides enormous opportunities for automating customer processes and generating reports and analyses.

"Signing the agreement with Orlen is an important element of our partnership. We know that our customers expect fuel sales to be handled by a single operator, both for bulk deliveries to tanks used for personal use and for other purchases made at gas stations. It's worth noting that data collected from both micro-station tanks and Orlen gas stations is automatically and seamlessly recorded in Ekopol's system, providing customers with a complete accounting and billing analysis in a single application," concludes Sebastian Pyka.

Successful first half of Ekopol

Let us add that an appropriate provision allowing the company to sell fuel in this way was included in the license issued by the Energy Regulatory Office.

In the second quarter, the company generated more than four times higher profit than a year ago (PLN 1.04 million) with sales revenues of PLN 128.3 million.

Meanwhile, in the first quarter, net profit reached PLN 723,000 on revenues of PLN 62.9 million. This year, the company operates over 350 microstations across the country.

Ekopol Górnośląski Holding has been listed on the NewConnect market since 2008. It has been operating in the liquid fuels segment for over 30 years.
