Suframa makes a technical visit to the cement factory in the ZFM

Polimix unit is a reference in the supply of cement to the Western Amazon
The Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa) carried out, this Friday (July 4th), a technical visit to the Polimix Concreto Ltda. unit, manufacturer of Mizu Cement, located in the Vila Buriti neighborhood, in the southern part of the city. The company is about to complete 11 years of operation in the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM), with strategic activity in the supply of cement to the Western Amazon and the State of Amapá.
The visit aimed to strengthen institutional relations and to get to know the operations of the industrial plant, which produces CPII Z 32, CPII Z 40 and CPIV 32 cements, up close. The Suframa delegation was received by the unit's factory leader, Jadson Holanda, accompanied by geologist Felipe Amaral, Occupational Safety engineer Rebeca Faria, and administrative coordinator Deise Simões.
During the visit, the Authority's team was able to monitor the production process and discuss technical, logistical and operational aspects of the company, which has been operating in the capital of Amazonas since October 2014.
Suframa superintendent Bosco Saraiva highlighted the importance of Polimix’s work in the ZFM. “It is a consolidated enterprise, with a strong regional and national presence, which represents the productive capacity and growth potential of the local industry well,” he stated.
