Heavy rainfall hits New Jersey: State of emergency declared

A state of emergency has been declared in the US state of New Jersey due to heavy rainfall.
According to NBC News, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency due to heavy rains, saying, "Please stay home and avoid unnecessary travel."
Meanwhile, New York City Emergency Management Agency warned on social media platform X, "If you live in a basement, be vigilant. Flash flooding can occur with little warning, including overnight. Keep your phone, flashlight, and emergency kit with you. Be prepared to move to higher ground."
3 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE STATEIn New Jersey, three people were killed when a tree fell on their vehicle during heavy rain and storms in early July.
On the other hand, as a result of the sudden heavy rainfall that started on July 4 in the southern US state of Texas , the Guadalupe River in the Kerr region overflowed, causing flooding.
It was stated that 129 people had lost their lives in the flood disaster so far, approximately 150 people were missing and search efforts were continuing.
